Connect banks automatically
SimpleFIN is an independent paid service (about $15/year). Payment and bank sign-ins stay on its website. Maali receives read-only financial data on this computer.
Bank connections are disabled in the public demo because it has no private device credential store. In the desktop app, the token is saved only on your computer.

SimpleFIN handles the bank connection. Maali guides you out and back, then keeps new transactions arriving while the app is open.

SimpleFIN will show a setup code after your banks are connected. Copy it, return to Maali, and paste it here.
Setup codes work once. Maali exchanges yours directly with SimpleFIN and saves the resulting connection in this device's secure storage.

Review and start syncing
Maali will show the accounts SimpleFIN found. You choose where transactions go and which balances count toward your net worth before anything syncs.
